All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go

I used to belong to a quilling guild in upstate NY and we made quilts for charity. I set a personal goal if making 12 charity quilts this year. They come together quickly using charm packs and leftover blocks and I think everyone, especially babies, should have a handmade quilt.

I have three ready to get the binding stitched on the back. My mother in law does that part for me very often and will collect these today. But being relatively new to Bergen County, NJ, I don’t know where to donate them. I just joined the Northern Jersey Modern Quilt Guild and will reach out to see if they have any ideas. If not I will call a woman’s shelter or the Red Cross. Open to any other suggestions too!

3 down, 9 to go.
