I am a summer girl, but I love fall too – the first chill in the air, sweater weather, tennis, and crock pot Sundays with the NFL on TV. I seem to be at my most productive when it comes to sewing and I love the way the holidays pile up – first Halloween with silly costumes and trick or treating, then Thanksgiving with the warmth if a great meal with family and friends, followed by the holidays which always involve a lot of sewing, visiting family, many parties, and two weeks off from work. Even though Maddie is 15 now and a little too old for me to make a costume I still love Halloween. It isn’t a surprise at all that I am pushing the season a little bit and spent the better part of Sunday making Halloween items for my home and upcoming craft shows.

This cute little table topper features owls with stars and moons on a black background with orange and gold points to the star. A closer look:

The back is a pretty orange and black polka dot:
I also made a few new witch tea towels:
And, I pulled fabric for a dozen Halloween tote bags. They are still in progress but I think the ones from this fabric are going to be my favorite:
I will post the totes in a few days. Do you have any Halloween projects planned?
