Maddie and I spent the day in a sugar cookie baking marathon. We did four batches with royal icing and created eggs, chicks, bunnies and flowers.  

 After baking the cookies and doing a base coat of icing we let them dry for a bit. Shane came over and we wwnt out for a bit and then came back for the main event – the decorating. Here are a few of my favorites. 

  They are (in case it isn’t obvious) a baseball chick, a fish, a bunny and a bird. Ok, just a few more:

 

These are a wedding chick, a hamburger (only Shane could make a hamburger out of an egg shape), a hatched chick (by Maddie, my favorite of the day) and a butterfly and flower.
