Baby Girl Quilt

All of a sudden it seems that pink is out of fashion. I still love pink from light to dark, but fortunately there are many beautiful palettes with which to work when making a quilt for a baby girl.

I made this one with a beautiful pinky-peach rose on a deep peach/coral fabric. The background has tint coordinating flowers on white and the chain is a matching yellow with tiny white circles. The pattern is a mini Irish chain.

The quilting is a rose and heart pantograph in a pale yellow. It looks great with the fabric.

I liked it so much I made two. And I cut one out in another color way. Now I just need more time to sew.
