Happy Memorial Day weekend! I was supposed to travel for work this week but the trip got cancelled so I am surprisingly enjoying a long weekend! I have big plans to be a weekend warrior this weekend!
First up is to stitch up these two space man baby quilts I cut out this morning. And get them quilted. And bound. They will be square in a square with solid white sashing in between each 9″ block. They should be cute.
With the leftover fabric from the 12 fat quarters the quilts came from I will make 3 crayon rolls. Plus 3 more from some other scraps.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love pink. And Kaffe Fassett. So I plan to cut, stitch, quilt and bind this pink Argyle II quilt from this awesome pink Fassett sampler. For me. Can’t wait.
I also set a goal of getting 3 aprons embroidered for the summer craft show season. And 10 tea towels.
But wait, there is more. I want to finish quilting this orange and grey star on my regular machine and then get this beautiful moda throw done on the longarm.
Plus have friends over on Saturday, take Maddie shopping and play tennis at least three times. I am getting tired thinking about all of it but it has been a while since I spent some real quality time in my sewing space so I am very excited. I will post on Tuesday what I ACTUALLY get done. In the meantime, I hope you all have a lot of fun this weekend doing whatever makes you happy!
I love a good optimist! Best to you on a productive weekend!
