I love making these little table toppers for holidays and other special occasions. They work up quick, no pattern is required and the look great. I am a little under the weather today so these allowed me to still accomplish something without overdoing it.  
 The quilting is just stitch-in-the-ditch around the star. I like the gold metallic touches in the fabric and in hindsight should have used gold thread for the quilting. Oh well, I may make a couple more so I will try it then!
