Hope you are having a great July 4th weekend. I hadn’t planned on much quilting as friends were coming from Miami, but weather intervened, their flight was delayed for hours, and we postponed the visit. It would have been too much for their young son.
I made good use of the time and got busy with multitasking. Wimbledon was on TV, with play on Sunday due to the weather, so I was very productive.
First up, machine embroidery, mostly bibs.
The top row is two custom “1st birthday” bibs for a great customer. The second row is some fall motifs for late summer and fall craft shows.
Then I practiced long arm quilting on some table runners. It was good to advance quilts and manipulate the patterns. One is for me, and a duplicate for the Etsy shop. I love the summer palette.
And lastly, pieced and quilted a buffalo check baby quilt, using my new Prostitcher of course, to use as a sample at craft show. On top of celebrating Maddie’s birthday and hanging at the pool, before fireworks tonight. It was a great weekend, and I hope you enjoyed yours just as much.
