Well, I did it. After coveting one for a decade, I finally ordered a longarm quilting machine. I am getting the HandiQuilter with a 10′ table configuration so I will be able to finally quilt my own quilts up to 120″ x 120″.

Of course this little Christmas gift to self meant a whole lot of work for Rob. The machine takes up a lot of space so we are rearranging the sewing room. New shelves, raised off the floor will give me lots more storage and the Archie Bunker lazy boy will be retired – to either the curb or the basement.

The machine is shipping today and being installed on 12/27. I can’t wait.
