Wow was I surprised! We spend New Year’s Eve with our friends Jen and Tim and their kids every year. We drive to their house in upstate NY last night, but Tim had to work, so we agreed to exchange gifts today. Except Jen could not wait.

Jen made me this amazing quilt for Christmas. It is so bright and cheerful and includes a sewing motif without being corny. The fabric line is called Bobbins and Bits and she downloaded the pattern from the Moda Bake Shop site. I love the red, orange, teal and lime green color palette on the cool grey background.

This was a really wonderful surprise and great way to round out the holidays.
