One of my last custom orders of 2013 was a greeting card holder. I usually make these for Christmas. This particular customer wanted one to hide a thermostat in her kitchen and asked for wine and fruit-related fabrics.

The six pockets hold multiple cards each but can be used for general mail as well.

I had made this with a tab top but I got an email yesterday asking for “loops” on the end to hang the wall hanging from hooks. Given the piece was done I simply added button holes to the tabs.

Now the wall hanging can be hung in a rod or in hooks. I am mailing it tomorrow. I hope she likes it.
