Wow! My husband turned 50 today! Happy birthday Rob.

He is unfortunately working on Long Island this week so the celebration will have to wait until the weekend. In the meantime, I am focusing on my To-do-sday list of things to get done. I just stitched a custom embroidered t-shirt for Etsy, and started on an order of 7 custom tea towels. I am working on a custom order t-shirt quilt that I had hoped to get out before Labor Day. And, I am collecting fabric for his, hers and hers “All About Me” quilts for Christmas. His for Rob, hers for me, and another hers for Maddie.

I made All About Me lap-sized Quilts for my niece and nephew the Christmas before last, and one for my friend Jen too. Then, my friend Joy celebrated her 40th birthday last April and she got one (although it is still in my sewing room waiting to be quilted, I’m afraid of ruining it.) Now, I want one, want Maddie to have one, and want Rob to have one too. So I am collecting fabric and brainstorming ideas. Hopefully they will be done by Christmas and I’ll be able to post them soon.
