This Christmas quilt just sold and is off to a good home. I started making it as a quilt for our family, but as I worked in it knew I would sell it as I don’t really have a home for it and have another holiday quilt in the works for us. I love the focus fabric, which I bought ten-ish years ago and always thought it would make an amazing lining in a skirt or as the cuff of a sleeve.

I love how this block (which I have seen called many different names) forms a secondary pattern and chain through the quilt. This was my first significant quilt sold so that is very exciting and motivating.
