Spaced Out

I got this cute fabric a couple of months ago and finally stitched up a few baby quilts.

The simple square in a square pattern works up quick and really highlights the cute fabric.

The collection including space, planes and robots with nice plaids, camo prints and stars.

I freehand quilted it on the long arm machine with clouds, stars and scribbles in a light blue cotton thread.

After I made the first top, I had so many FQ’s left that I stitched up another and got them quilted together.

Then I still had fabric left and I am trying to avoid scrap accumulation so I cut it to size for crayon rolls. Very efficient! I hope I am this efficient in Rangeley, Maine with Jen and our families this week!
