I enjoyed visiting the K & H Quilt Shoppe in Kaysville, Utah as part of the Shop Hop excursion at HandiQuilter Academy. The owners were very friendly and treated us well, providing a fun quilt bingo game, water, and a treat. They are very excited about being in Quilt Sampler magazine, and I am happy for them.
Something I thought was especially nice is that they always have trunk shows from local quilters on display. These quilts are from a quilter named Lauri Linder. Nice job Lauri.
The shop is a fair size, although they seemed to be low on fabric as they had recently finished their Utah shop hop. I liked their shop samples and the selection they had was very well-balanced. I came away with some great mixers and a fun Thanksgiving print.
I always enjoy seeing antique furniture and other unusual displays for fabric and quilts. They had some interesting pieces around the shop. And they also had some interesting notions which I always appreciate.
