The second shop I got to visit during the HandiQuilter Academy shop hop was Quilter’s Attic in Bountiful, Utah. From the moment you pull into the lot, this shop screams warmth and welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and it showed in my purchases! I also appreciated their hospitality, the fat quarter they gifted and the courtesy discount.
The cutting and checkout counter is the main hub of the shop and sits in the center of a large room of fabric, notions, patterns and specialty products like wool. They have a nice mix of fabrics including traditional, modern and novelty and plenty of shop samples to inspire you. They pay a lot of attention to how things are displayed so you really need to look around, take inventory and then decide on purchases.
I love when a quilt shop makes you want to pick things up, touch fabrics and explore patterns that you may not otherwise consider. This shop did that and I found myself drawn to things outside my range.
I love when a shop has samples across different styles of quilts. These sailboats caught my eye and reminded me of a quilt I made years ago. So cute.
These felted wool bees caught my eye too. I have had a whole bee thing going on lately so they were very fitting. I don’t really work with wool anymore but maybe I will try something soon as I still have a lot of wool.
They also have a nice bright classroom and a respectable sale section. If I lived nearby this would be a frequent stop for me!
Visit Quilter’s Attic at 2155 Orchard Drive, #102 in Bountiful, Utah or online at http://www.quiltersattic-utah.com. I think you will enjoy your visit and find some great fabric.
